Bookshelf lets you convert one or more text files into a ready-to-install midlet. When the midlet is launched on the phone, the user can read the texts included in it.

For each text, you can choose the CP1251 or KOI8-R encoding, hyphenation language, indents, line spacing, and font. The program shows how the text will look on the phone screen and supports Palm Pilot fonts in PDB and PFT formats.

You can include plugins in the generated book for jumping to a page and between texts, viewing information, and automatic paged or smooth scrolling. Siemens SL45i, C55, M50, S55, and SL55 are supported.
